Taking a Break

I really enjoy blogging and certainly enjoy tablescaping, but sometimes life gets in the way! There are a lot of exciting things taking place in my life right now and I need to step away from blogging for a time.

I will be celebrating my 5th blogaversary on Sunday, June 1, 2014 with my annual “Where do you keep it all?” link party. I hope you join me to link or just to visit!

This winter I took over another space in my home and did a huge reorganization. I can’t wait to share it with you!

Enjoy your break Alma. I feel like I've been on a break for several months. I am not working as much on posts since we spend so much time running to St Luke's. Hope that slows down, now that J has seen the endocrinologist and is set with his meds and diet and doing well. Maybe I can catch up after we finish with the yard and garden. But then I am enjoying these small posts I am doing. Less work more fun, I think.:-)
See you in June!

Alma-
I totally understand the need to step back and even step away sometimes from blogging. I used to be so determined to make my self-imposed deadlines and posts, but I have found that I really want to do this on my terms. I do not accept any sponsors, so I can call the shots. Enjoy every moment and be sure to keep your lovely creativity going.

Enjoy your blog break, Alma! Hope to see you back in blog land when you are ready :) I do enjoy looking at your amazing tablescapes, but my absolute favourite posts are 'Where do you keep it all' - Your collection of everything is fantastic and I get inspired to organise myself better as well as creating more fun tablescapes. All the best! Autumn hugs from Australia♥ ~Pernilla

Enjoy your time off! You work really hard with family, home, blogging, entertaining...you need time away from at least one thing to pull yourself together for summer! I think it only makes us better when we take time to reevaluate and just breathe a little.

See you in June! Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

You amaze me! Last evening I was having guests and I wanted to use my flattened Coke bottle as a cheese board. I looked on every shelf in my armoire behind the silver chests, down on the bottom where I have the wine rack, next to my stack of chargers but no bottle. Moved to the next place the Christmas dish storage( it does hold a few other odds and ends)not there either. Not in the bottom of the hoosier or the china cabinet, the small buffet the bottom of a small hoosier I use as an island or any of my kitchen cupboards. I knew it was there somewhere. I started again with the armoire. This time I started at the top. The shelf with all of my napkins. Guess what I found snuggled in between stacks of napkins? That's right. My Coke tray. Do you think I may have obsession with dishes? Enjoy your break!!! I will be waiting to check out your 5th post on where do I store it all.I will be taking notes on storage in June.
